About

B-Lumière is more than just a name.

Lumière is a French word meaning light and the B represents to be thus together, B-Lumière means to be light.

B-Lumiere started in 2013 as a range of designer lights designed and made locally in South Africa. The lights were originally sold in markets in Centurion, Bloemfontein and Stellenbosch (Kamers vol geskenke).

From 2015 the lights were sold in smaller independent retail stores and was eventually spread all over South Africa.

In 2017 we decided to expand the business into furniture, which is currently the main focus. The Furniture are imported from around the world, current range coming from Indonesia and China.

As a start the furniture will only be available in Nelspruit but we hoping to open a showroom in Pretoria very soon. Special arrangements can be made for delivery elsewhere in South Africa.
